Sierre (VS) - bilingual, innovative, strategically underestimated
Sierre sits on the language line of Valais - a canton where French and German are both official languages. It is a practical base if you operate across Switzerland’s two largest linguistic markets without turning language into a project.
At Rue du Technopôle, the Swiss Digital Center grew out of Switzerland’s first park dedicated to information and communication technologies. Today it concentrates around 60–70 companies, institutes, and start-ups in one compact site, built for applied work rather than slogans.
The broader ecosystem is reinforced by EPFL Valais Wallis in Sion (Energypolis), linking research, engineering, and innovation actors within the same cantonal corridor. Valais remains competitively taxed; for 2025, combined effective corporate income tax rates are low-teens in the canton.
Swiss Tower has maintained a registered business address (c/o) in Sierre since 2016
